The Modernist oil painting on masonite board panel is painting in The Mid Twentieth Century by the artist Glenn Radtke. The California landscape composition is painted in the Fauvist style in a gorgeous vibrant multicolor palette. The impasto technique with thick application of oil paint adds luminosity, depth, and a dramatic quality to the artwork emphasizing light and texture. The painting is reminiscent of the works of the great Modern Masters of The Fauvism Art Movement such as Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Maurice Vlaminck, and Andre Derain, in it's approach, technique, subject and color palette.

The rare vintage original one of a kind framed Modernist painting measures 18 3/8" W X 22 3/8" H X 1 1/2" D. It is signed by the artist in the lower right front bottom corner.

It is custom framed in a Contemporary Modern burnished gold leaf museum box style satin eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The painting is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and some light minor wear.
