This mid-century artwork depicts a tranquil rural scene, likely inspired by the rolling foothills and mountain valleys of the American West, with dirt road curving upward through a sunlit meadow, balanced by clusters of mature trees on either side, towards softly rendered mountains that rise across the horizon in the distance. The changing effects of sunlight across the landscape and imparts a sense of warmth and quiet serenity. The painting is signed at lower right “V.
