This painting features a french cityscape. The painting depicts many characters, including a woman and child walking hand-in-hand, a woman with a small black dog, a couple holding hands and a woman in a blue suit on her way to work. The street is filled with colorful, traditional shutter-adorned apartments and shops.
This elegant oil painting is perfect for more traditional households. With its deep reds, canary yellows, light pinks and light blues, this piece would make a wonderful statement in any living room, bedroom, library or kitchen.
Prudnikov created this oil painting in the impressionist style, using impasto, a technique where paint is laid thickly on an area of the surface so the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible. This beautiful texture gives the illusion that the paint is coming to life off the canvas, proving a 3D effect.
The painting is surrounded by an elaborate gold-painted frame.
