Some years ago, having little money in my purse and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the vintage part of the world.
Thus began the voyage of White Whaler Vintage.
We are modern-day Ahabs in pursuit of the great White Whale of design: that elusive, luminous object that surfaces once in a lifetime and changes everything. Obsessed, relentless, and a little mad, we chase the rarest quarry across stormy estate sales, foggy attics, and the deep waters of forgotten collections.
Our harpoons strike Hollywood Regency brass, Mid-Century teak leviathans, Old Hollywood mirrored whales, Gothic wrought-iron beasts, and porcelain kraken from Italy and beyond. Every piece bears the scars and splendor of its own Pequod: provenance from prominent East Coast estates, patina earned in grand salons, stories whispered in candlelit libraries.
Meticulously restored, rigorously researched, and photographed as if lit by St. Elmo’s fire, each treasure is ready to breach into your home and claim its rightful place as the undisputed monarch of the room.
