The table is marked "Made in Italy" on the underside, with a Reuge label confirming the Swiss musical movement plays "Fascination" (the famous Fascination Waltz composed by F.D. Marchetti in 1904).<br>Crafted in Italy, the hinged lift-top showcases an intricate floral and scrollwork design in contrasting light and dark woods, with a central ornate oval motif framed by bordered panels, delicate green accents, and fine string banding. The craftsmanship is consistent with the renowned Sorrento marquetry tradition of southern Italy.<br>When the lid is opened, the built-in Reuge music box plays automatically, activated by the brass hinge mechanism.
