PROVENANCE & CONSTRUCTION
Acquired from a single-owner Maryland estate. Each chest features solid mahogany construction with beautifully figured flame-mahogany drawer fronts, original solid brass batwing bail pulls with matching escutcheons, and fully dovetailed drawers throughout. The chests rest on shaped ogee bracket feet and include a pull-out dressing slide beneath the molded top — a hallmark feature of fine Georgian-era cabinetwork.

CONDITION & DETAILS
Excellent vintage condition with warm aged patina. No structural issues. Both chests retain their original Kittinger paper labels and branded maker's marks. Original locking hardware with keys and decorative tassels included. Normal minimal surface wear consistent with careful household use.
