These six antique English Staffordshire semi-porcelain crescent dishes will make a lovely addition to any tabletop. Creamy scalloped edged plate adorned with red-tinged brown and gilt floral pattern. Perfect for serving side dishes, salads, or desserts. Fabricated by Ridgways, a pottery manufacturer founded in 1866 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire England. The firm changed the name to Ridgways in 1879 and later, in 1920, incorporated "Bedford Works" into its trademark. Therefore, bearing the pattern name "Estrella" and the Ridgways mark en verso, the plates appear to date from 1879-1920.
Dimensions vary from 6"W x 3.25"D.
Very good antique condition; no cracks nor discoloration, tiny flea bite on 1 and very faint crazing.
