A Haviland France Art Deco plate signed by artist J.H. Stouffer. Color is light blue and green with a gold rim. Plate depicts daisies and leaves. Measures approx. 8 ½”. Rear is hallmarked Haviland France and Hand Painted Stouffer.
Jacob H. Stouffer was born in Adeline, Illinois, in 1866 and first appeared in Chicago in 1892. In 1902 he went into business for himself as the J. H. Stouffer Co., China and Glass Wholesalers.
