pair of danish modern lounge chairs model ge88 designed by the owner of the getama furniture factory aage pedersen.
these easy chairs are made in solid teak with epeda spring cushions. Original wool fabric. The ge 88 are stylish, elegant and very comfortable.
getama is a well known danish manufacturer of mid-century modern furniture and have had a long lasting collaboration with architect hans j. Wegner. They are still producing wegner's furniture today.
the story goes that when wegner saw these chairs he demanded that getama ceased the production immediately as he thought they were too close to his own designs.

the upholstery shows signs of wear and is faded. Spring cushions are in good shape.
