This elegant cloisonné enamel vase is crafted from a gilt bronze body and features a vibrant dark blue ground. The main body is decorated with a detailed scene of a rooster standing amidst lush green foliage and large pink and yellow peony blossoms, all rendered in polychrome enamel. The background is filled with a delicate wire scroll pattern. The neck and foot are adorned with elaborate, stylized floral and lappet borders in shades of blue, green, red, and yellow, separated by gilded bands. The interior of the vase and the base are finished in a bright turquoise blue enamel. The vase is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural gilt bronze elements with fine enamel work.
