An exquisite late 19th-century French Limoges porcelain plate by Haviland & Co. Crafted from fine white porcelain, this piece features a graceful Art Nouveau design accented with hand-finished botanical sprays of soft pink carnations and delicate greenery. The scalloped, embossed rim is embellished with rich, heavy gilded sponge accents.
Marked on the underside with the green H&C / L / FRANCE white ware backstamp alongside the red Haviland & Co. Limoges decorator mark. The specific green stamp configuration was used by Haviland & Co. from 1888 to 1896.
