Here's a highboy that has survived without any major restoration and in exceptional condition, ready to display, use and enjoy each day. One of your favorite woods should be cherry for its warmth and excellent color The cove cornice sits above a case of graduated drawers. The lower case is composed of three short drawers, the central of which has a most beautiful carved fan within a reverse blocked front. Below this, an arcaded apron is between well carved cabriole legs with sea scrolls at the knees. These terminate in club feet. The hardware, although old and correct, is not the first set but well chosen. This is a truly delightful American piece that you could buy without hesitation. See less
