A magnificent and beautifully proportioned mid-century French Provincial tallboy chest of drawers by the venerable Thomasville Furniture. Designed with an architectural chest-on-chest silhouette, this classic highboy perfectly balances massive vertical storage capacity with the refined, romantic lines of traditional French design.
The chest features six (6) graduated drawers highlighted by elegant, raised molded paneling and contoured waist trim. Each drawer features tight dovetailed construction and operates smoothly on original glides. The fronts are accented by exquisite, original heavy brass leaf pulls and decorative center escutcheons showcasing a beautiful natural patina. Supported by graceful, scrolling cabriole legs and an ornately carved lower skirt, this exceptional statement piece adds immediate height, character, and luxury to any traditional interior layout.
