There is wonderful use of wood grain to create contrast and subtle drama, and this is complimented wonderfully by the lack of metal hardware or any extra decorative elements. There is an emphasis on the natural quality of the wood that lends an immediacy to the organic nature of the grains and patterns. It's very handsome and definitely will be noticed in any setting.
