Design classic ‚orix‘ writing desk in black and chrome, from italy, 1970s.
italian space age design, in sculpted black abs plastic body resting on a high-quality chrome tubular steel base.
design: vittorio parigi and nani prina for 1971.
produced by molteni, giussano, italy until circa 1979.
this desk is complete and retains all its original features:
- original chromed angle lamp, fully functional
- transparent lift-up glass top in very good condition
- the original footrest with its rubber anti-slip surface, a rare surviving element
with three storage and four book compartments, the orix desk is both a functional workspace and a collectible design classic.
