Charming Louis Philippe style desk, mid-19th century, crafted entirely from solid walnut.
The top has rounded edges and is made of two walnut planks.
A drawer is integrated into the apron; the lock is not functional.
The legs are turned wood, baluster-shaped, typical of this period. This small, simple, and elegant desk is ideal for creating a writing space in a bedroom corner. Its clean lines complement any decorating style. The table is sound, stable, and solid, in very good condition. There are normal signs of age, such as marks on the wood surface and a gap between the two planks of the top. A practical and durable piece of furniture.
Height under the apron: 63 cm.
Interior drawer dimensions: W42/H5.5/D35 cm. The table has been fully treated against insects as a preventative measure, as it is not currently affected.
