Antique French carriage clock (pendule de voyage) crafted in brass and adorned with exquisite champleve enamel work, dating back to the Belle Epoque period (circa 1890–1910). The white enamel dial features classic Roman numerals, elegant Breguet-style hands, and bears the authentic "MADE IN FRANCE" signature. The rectangular brass case is constructed in the traditional Corniche style, elevated by four decorative corner columns and vibrant multi-colored enamel borders at the top and base.
This historic timepiece retains its mechanical movement with a visible escapement through the top glass panel and comes complete with its winding key. It is in working condition, showcasing meticulous European horological craftsmanship from the turn of the century. The brass exhibits a beautiful, authentic patina that highlights its vintage character, while the beveled glass panels remain intact.
Perfect as a sophisticated statement piece for an executive desk, a mantle display, or a curated antique collection. Additionally, this authentic turn-of-the-century clock serves as an impeccable, high-fidelity historical prop or set decoration for film studios, television productions, and theatrical period dramas requiring genuine Belle Epoque aesthetics.
