Nuova Capodimonte porcelain floral centerpiece in the form of a basket with hand-formed and hand-painted roses, rosebuds, blossoms, and foliage. Produced in Italy during the mid to late twentieth century, the arrangement displays the characteristic craftsmanship associated with Capodimonte floral porcelain, with individually applied flowers creating a dense and highly detailed composition.
The basket is supported by scroll feet and bears the original Nuova Capodimonte mark. The combination of open roses, floral clusters, and naturalistic foliage reflects the Italian Romantic tradition for which Capodimonte porcelain became internationally recognized during the post-war period.
