Beautiful, early pair of Fitz & Floyd crane candlesticks made in Japan and dated 1977 on the underside. These sculptural ceramic pieces feature elegant white cranes standing beside bamboo-form candle columns, with hand-painted black facial details, gilt-tone beaks, and long wood legs that give them a refined Hollywood Regency feel. The crisp white glaze keeps them fresh and versatile while the chinoiserie-inspired design adds that collected, decorative look Fitz & Floyd became known for. Wonderful for bringing symmetry to a mantel, dining table, or console, especially styled with colorful taper candles.
