Stunning Art Nouveau vase, crafted by Goebel Glass as part of the Artis Orbis series in the last quarter of the 20th century. Limited edition number 427/2000 worldwide.
The vase is crafted from premium fine porcelain with a glazed finish that highlights the vibrancy of the pigments. The central scene is framed by a delicate and elegant gold border, which also crowns the upper rim of the vase, echoing the iconic “golden period” of the Austrian painter.
The vase showcases details from the more vibrant and naturalistic side of the Symbolist genius Gustav Klimt: his lyrical landscapes and blooming gardens from the early 20th century.
Images from “The Garden of Sunflowers” and “Farm Garden with Cruciferous Plants” can be seen.
At the bottom of each scene, the iconic signature of “Gustav Klimt” stands out in gold lettering, organically integrated into the design.
The base features the official Goebel Germany stamp, the collection name, and the exclusive limited edition number 427/2000.
