A dramatic studio art-glass vase by American glass artist Peter VanderLaan. The elongated ovoid body is formed in deep cobalt blue glass with layered shades of red, orange, green, and subtle iridescent color that shift with changing light and viewing angle.
The asymmetrical opening has been cut and polished into sharp, sweeping points, giving the vessel a strongly sculptural silhouette. Approximately 12 inches high. Signed Vanderlaan 96
