A finely painted 18th-century English Battersea (Bilston) enamel patch box, circa 1750, featuring a sentimental inscription and delicately rendered figural scene. The lid interior is inscribed “Remember my Friend / All things have an End,” encircling a pair of birds perched above a pedestal, framed by a soft wreath of foliage.
The exterior is finished in a vibrant green enamel, providing a striking contrast to the hand-painted white interior.
