Originally designed by marcel breuer in 1928, this chair is considered one of the most significant contributions to modern furniture history and continues to be produced virtually unchanged. Characteristic of this version is the chrome-plated tubular steel frame in the classic cantilever shape, which, thanks to its springy construction, offers a comfortable, gently rocking seating experience. The seat and backrest are upholstered in viennese cane webbing and framed in a finely crafted solid beechwood frame. The light, lacquered finish underscores the warm, natural look and creates an elegant contrast to the cool chrome.

these chairs are original thonet production models from the 1980s. Typical features of this era include the embossed thonet signature on the wooden frame, the uniformly dimensioned tubular steel, and the industrial design of the backrest attachment using metal tabs. The wickerwork has been partially re-woven and therefore exhibits slight color variations. Variant v represents the classic design with viennese wickerwork on the seat and back and is one of the most popular versions of this model.
