A classic and highly desirable design by Charles & Ray Eames, originally created in 1961 for the Time-Life Building in New York. This chair combines comfort, function, and that timeless mid-century look that works beautifully in both home and office settings.
Slightly more compact than the Time-Life Lobby Chair, Model 3474 fits easily at a desk or conference table while still having a strong, sculptural presence. The thick, tufted cushions and polished aluminum frame give it a clean, iconic look.
This 1968 example has been professionally restored with care. It features new genuine leather upholstery, done in a way that stays true to the original style, along with a repolished aluminum frame that brings back a nice, soft sheen while keeping its vintage feel.
The chair retains its original 4-star swivel base and offers smooth rotation, height adjustment, and tilt making it comfortable and practical for everyday use.
