This genuine 1996 Gunlocke Pattern 9400 Executive Chair is a beautifully preserved example of mid-90s corporate luxury. It features its original, rich Sherwood Green genuine leather upholstery (LEA L-652), complete with a classic tufted button backrest, padded armrests, and an elegant solid wood base and trim finished in a medium tone (FIN C-512).
Built for absolute comfort and durability, the chair features full 360-degree rotation, pneumatic height adjustment, and a smooth tilt-tension lock mechanism riding on its original black casters. The original manufacturing and order tags remain fully intact underneath the seat, guaranteeing its provenance and authenticity for collectors.
Condition Report:
This piece is in good vintage condition with beautiful structural integrity. The leather is strong, supple, and free of any major rips or tears. In accordance with its age and authentic office use, there are minor cosmetic scuffs on the leather along the top and side edges of the backrest. The solid wood arms and base show honest, localized surface wear, scratches, and finish rub—adding a perfect, authentic vintage patina. The pneumatic cylinder and tilt mechanisms have been tested and function exactly as they should.
