This management height desk chair features a lower backrest, armrests, original ribbed brown leather upholstery, and a polished aluminum five-star swivel base with silver rolling carpet casters. The comfortable, contoured ergonomic design includes a one-piece seat and back suspension that creates a flexible “sitting pocket,” subtly conforming to the body’s shape. The 360-degree smooth swivel seat offers manual height adjustment and backrest tilt.

Originally introduced by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958 as part of the Eames Aluminum Group collection for Herman Miller, the Thin Pad chair remains one of the most recognizable and enduring office chair designs of the twentieth century. Combining exceptional comfort with timeless modern design, it is equally well suited for home or office use. Retains its original Herman Miller 50 Year Anniversary issue label (2008) and manufacturer’s sticker to the underside.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Natural creasing to the leather with minor distress to the seat and light rubbing along some edges. The frame is structurally sound and fully functional with general marks and surface scratches from normal use. The aluminum armrests have some scratches, particularly along the front edges, consistent with contact against a desktop.
