Characterized by its rustic charm and distinct folk-art aesthetic, this piece features the iconic dual-tone palette of milky white slip and hand-painted emerald green copper glaze. The basin is anchored by a spirited, hand-painted bird—likely a stylized heron or crane—surrounded by delicate floral sprigs. The linework is fluid and expressive, showcasing the "pre-industrial" soul of Spanish pottery. The flared rim is decorated with rhythmic, concentric "scalloped" or wave patterns, a hallmark of 19th and early 20th-century Granada ceramics.
