Elevate your Italian porcelain collection with this finely detailed vintage R. Capodimonte covered dish, hand‑crafted in Italy and marked “R. Capodimonte Italy” with form number 2042. The lidded, footed bowl features high‑relief putti figures and birds in a lush garden scene, finished in a soft mottled green glaze with hand‑applied gold accents around the rim and finial. A sculptural child finial crowns the lid, giving this piece a romantic Old World feel that works beautifully as a decorative centerpiece, vanity jar, potpourri dish, or small candy dish.
Perfect for collectors of Capodimonte, Italian Majolica, and European porcelain, this unique compote‑style dish adds classic Hollywood Regency and traditional Italian charm to a coffee table, entry console, or bedroom dresser. Style it on a stack of design books, pair it with brass candlesticks, or display it in a china cabinet alongside other green and white ceramics for a curated, designer look.
