An oversized antique calendar wall clock, crafted in the American Victorian style, circa 1890. The case is constructed from walnut and features intricate chip carving throughout. The design is highlighted by an elaborate crest with a pierced gallery and turned finials, with similar ornate carving decorating the sides and drop pendant. The long trunk has a glass door that reveals a brass pendulum with a disc bob. The clock face features a paper dial with bold Roman numerals for the hours and an outer chapter ring with Arabic numerals from 1 to 31, indicating the date. A third, red-tipped hand points to the current day of the month.
