This bowl is gorgeous in a striking cobalt color. This type of work is very popular in Eastern Europe. It takes an old world craftsman to do this kind of work. They have to blow 2 layers of crystal in clear and cobalt and using a wheel cut through the cobalt layer to the crystal. These have been made since Victorian times and are very labor intensive.
