Brilliant, mid-century centerpiece bowl designed by Russel Wright for Freeman McFarlin, made in California. This sculptural piece features a richly gilded finish with a fluted, petal-like form, ornate handles, and a deep, green glazed interior. Signed on the underside “Russel Wright / Calif. USA / 739.” The combination of organic form and dramatic finish reflects Wright’s signature approach to modern design with a decorative edge. A standout piece for a coffee table or dining centerpiece, and equally striking styled with a potted plant as shown.
