The Japanese Chinoiserie Imari porcelain hand painted set has four plates and four coffee mugs in traditional floral and geometric designs with a blue and white center and banded rim. We love the underside design, adding a beautiful finishing touch. These were imported by the Smithsonian Institution. Imari is a seaport in Japan and since the late 1500s has been exporting porcelain by the port’s namesake
