Full Description
This exceptional two-piece Baker Furniture bow front cabinet is a masterclass in architectural proportion and classical detail. Standing 87.75 inches tall and spanning 64.5 inches wide, the cabinet features a continuous convex front that projects gracefully at the center, creating depth and visual movement from every angle.
The upper display case is crowned with refined dentil molding and fitted with three recessed display lights, casting a warm glow across the interior. The side panels feature elegant inlaid detailing, framed with precision and balance. The bow front glass door openings (glass currently removed) measure 22” W x 48” H within 52” x 26” framed doors.
Below, the lower cabinet mirrors the convex curvature of the upper case, maintaining the sculptural continuity of the design. The plinth base follows the same arc, reinforcing the architectural integrity of the piece.
The cabinet retains its Baker oval medallion and original factory stencil marking “259 / 409-1,” confirming authenticity. The top and base separate for transport.
This is a substantial and statement-making piece suited for formal dining rooms, libraries, or grand entry spaces.
