Set of 6 Antique T&V Limoges Dinner Plates for Higgins & Seiter, New York — c. 1890–1910
Six antique T&V Limoges porcelain dinner plates, made in France and decorated exclusively for the prestigious New York retailer Higgins & Seiter. These plates showcase the refined craftsmanship Limoges is known for — crisp white porcelain, a delicately scalloped rim, and a richly detailed border in green, gold, and warm floral accents that feels both timeless and decorator‑friendly.
Each plate carries dual marks: the green T&V Limoges France factory stamp and the purple “Décoré par Limoges T.V. pour Higgins & Seiter New York” decorator mark, confirming their authenticity and special-order provenance.
Condition
All six plates are in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Very minor and expected color loss on the gilt and enamel in a few areas, consistent with age and gentle use, but nothing that distracts from display or table presentation.
