The matched set of freestanding 83” tall bookcases includes five wide units (30-3/16” wide) and 2 narrow units (19-5/8” wide), which can be reconfigured to fit your space. Each bookcase has 5 adjustable shelves and is topped with crown moulding, a rare feature that adds instant architecture. If you prefer a more streamlined look, the crown moulding can be easily detached.

The bookcases are unsigned but were likely made in Denmark in the 1970s. They are in excellent vintage condition. The shelves are sturdy, beautiful, and functional. Minor veneer losses and scratches. One of the bookshelves has damage on the backing. Some sun fading on the shelves. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the bookcases.

Each of the 5 wider bookcases measures 83” tall, 30-3/16” wide, and 11.5” deep (13” including the crown moulding). Each of the 2 narrow bookcases measures 83” tall, 19-⅝” wide, and 11.5” deep (13” including the crown moulding). The configuration of bookcases shown in the listing measures about 114” wide and 62” deep. The bookcases can be completely disassembled if desired for transport. See less
