This piece is built from pine, which has a layered painted finish. Hand-painted green trim and borders appear throughout the piece for added detail. Each shelf is deeper than the one above it, hence the “waterfall" name. The upper shelf measures 6 ⅜" deep while the lower shelf measures 8 ⅝" deep. The main surface measured 10 ⅛" deep and has a cabinet with green painted paneling below it. The cabinet doors open with brass knobs and secure with ball latches. Beneath the cabinet are two small drawers with matching painted details and brass knobs. The bookcase sits on scalloped bracket feet, which mimic the stepped profile of the shelves. This piece is a great option for creating displays and adding storage to any space. Gently cleaned and tightened, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
