The bowl is intricately carved with delicate Asian Lotus Flower fauna. The color is a warm rose and the glass is thick offering it an impressive nouveau. Peking glass was developed as an imitation of carved hardstone and is valued for its saturated color and smooth finish. The bowl works well as a decorative object or catchall and fits easily into both traditional and modern settings. The fauna carved on the bowl has an Art Nouveau appeal.
