A beautiful set of eight antique English small bowls by Wood and Sons, featuring classic blue and red transferware decoration with scrolling borders and a central floral urn motif. These charming dishes date to the late Victorian to early Edwardian period and were traditionally used for stewed fruit, custards, butter, or table sauces.
Each bowl has a gently flared rim and shallow form, making them perfect for both display and functional table styling. The glaze is smooth and even, and the set presents in very nice antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
