A charming set of ten antique English side plates by Wood & Sons, England. These petite plates feature classic blue and red transferware decoration with scrolling borders and a central floral urn motif, a timeless design associated with late Victorian to early Edwardian English tableware.
Each plate measures 5 inches in diameter and is ideal for side dishes, desserts, tea service, or layered display with other antique ceramics. The glaze shows light age-appropriate crazing, consistent with early ironstone production, and the transfer decoration remains clear and well defined.
All ten plates are in very nice antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
