A large and wonderfully characterful antique alarm clock mounted on its original wooden pedestal, dating to 1903 and attributed to Gebrüder Junghans, as documented by a matching example in the period manufacturer’s catalogue. The movement bears the Junghans maker’s mark, confirming its authenticity.
This piece beautifully captures the elegance of early 20th-century design, combining practical engineering with decorative presence. The clock is housed within a metal frame supported by twin columns and set on a shaped wooden stand. A stop-chime control is positioned at the bottom of the case. The silver-colored front dial features large Arabic numerals, a small seconds hand, and an alarm indicator.
