This is an authentic mid-century modern lounge chair. I believe this to be made of walnut. I have added four new straps for the underneath support. These straps are very specific for this model.
Original cushions had a worn red nubby fabric and the foam was very decayed.
Hence, the cushions now have new turquoise fabric and foam with custom piping and zippers for easy removal and cleaning. I have added rubber foot covers on each leg.
Has minimal scratches. Overall, is in excellent condition. It may be the most comfortable chair you will ever sit in.

- This chair was in good condition when I found it. Besides cleaning it up, the only things I had to … moreThis chair was in good condition when I found it. Besides cleaning it up, the only things I had to do were concerning with the cushions. The original seat supporting straps were dried out and floppy. The new straps could only be found at one place in the entire United States and they get their straps from Denmark. It's very likely this is a Danish modern chair. Probably from Denmark. The original cushions were a red nubby fabric. The foam inside was decaying and no longer had any spring to it. Hence, the new foam cushions have new turquoise upholstery fabric made with piping, and zippers for removing and washing if needed. This is such a great design and I think you'll find it to be the most comfortable chair you'll ever sit in. less
