Nicely made and large-scale chair. … Read more Outstanding iron chair with a "Persian rug" tapestry style upholstery sling and ornate brass finials. Nicely made and large-scale chair. This is not marked or signed in any way, linen tag on sling has been cut off. Familiar David Hicks design and overall this looks great. *One of the brass finials is stripped, it wants to thread on but does not tighten up as it should-see close ups. When assembled this is really not an issue but would suggest a repair or remedy of it somehow. Otherwise just light signs of age and use only, solid and looks great. Please note this chair does sit rather low to the ground. Direct from a local estate, please see photos and send any questions.

Good condition. *One of the brass finials is stripped, it wants to thread on but does not tighten up as it should-see close ups. When assembled this is really not an issue but would suggest a repair or remedy of it somehow. There are no bends, no breaks, no dents, no loose welds, no repairs etc. Chair is in square and when tightened is rather solid and sturdy overall. The upholstery has no rips, no tears, no holes, perfectly functional with a clean appearance. Iron shows some modest surface marks, some rubs or scratches, light signs of age and handling but no corrosion. Brass finials are very good, show modest patina, a few small bruises but again nice. *This chair does sit rather low, comfortable but getting in and out is a bit challenging.

40.25" tall, 24.5" wide at finials, 22.5" high at arms, 31" deep, 16" high front bar, seat is rather low at about 11" in the middle. See less
