Exquisite set of 3 rare antique, circa 1809 Wedgwood pearlware Pagoda plates with an Imari-style Chinoiserie decoration. In the Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue, and gilt highlights with a central roundel depicting a yellow pagoda surrounded by elaborate floral and foliage motifs. The pattern is in the Chinoiserie style, a European interpretation of East Asian designs popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. The backs feature an embossed "Wedgwood" mark, the initials PBH, and other factory markings. Would make a beautiful display as cabinet plates or arranged on a wall.

In fair antique condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including loss of surface finish in places and two plates have 1 1/2” hairline cracks radiating from the edge inward which are visible from the back but hard to detect on the frontside.
