Six different depictions from the English Cathedral First Series are included in the set: Durham (2), Norwich (2), Peterborough (2), Lincoln (2), York Minster (1) and Ely (1). The backstamp indicates the plate design is the ‘Catherine shape, as supplied to the Empress Catherine II of Russia by Josiah Wedgwood F.R.S in 1774.’ The plates were made in Etruria by Wedgwood. Though classified as dessert plates, they are a perfect size for your one-of-a-kind luncheon soiree! See less
