It features a brass and cast metal case, beveled glass on all sides, an enameled dial, original fleur-de-lis hands, and an eight-day, time-and-strike spring-driven brass movement.

The Ansonia Clock Company was a clock manufacturing business founded in Ansonia, Connecticut, in 1851 and which moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 1878.
