Rare Persian Malayer antique wide runner with all-over Herati design in dark gray background and variation of blue, yellow green, light gray, soft yellow, rug SUS-2007-38, country of origin / type: Iran / Malayer, circa 1920.
This antique Persian Malayer runner was handwoven in the early 20th century (circa 1920) and bears a remarkably unique all-over design. The design of its surrounding borders is equally exquisite and intricate. Colors include ivory, various shades of blue-gray, yellow-greens, cream, and light blue. The combination of its early period creation and its one-of-a-kind design makes this a remarkably rare and desirable rug.
