It is a dark wood with the sides being Chinese Chippendale fretwork. The top is 3 panels of clean leather. The brass handles are all present in a Campaign style. The drawers are lined with clean paper that resembles woven rattan. They are all clean with a small roll on an edge in one. The desk is finished all the way around so it can float in a room. Small chipping front drawer which is an easy fix. There are 5 drawers total. I am not a fan of lacquering these type of pieces although this might look amazing if you do not want brown wood. This can pair with many decor styles. Made by Dixie.

Condition: Leather is clean and present. All drawers move smoothly. Patina on the brass. i have not cleaned it. Small chipping bottom drawer. If you want to make perfect fill and stain or paint. Some very small areas have slightly lighter wood.
