Possessing all the charm of an aged and cherished piece of furniture, this Wainscot chair exhibits exactly the type of wear one would expect on such an antique item. 

As typical with so named wainscot chairs, this example features a naively carved back panel, turned fore legs, square profile rear legs and an un upholstered seat.

The condition is very good, there is no worm, however the frame has slight movement about the leg joints which is to be expected on such antique pieces.

The height is 106 cm, The width is 63 cm. The depth is 54 cm. The height to seat is 40 cm
It should be noted that Wainscot chairs were produced throughout 17th 18th and 19th centuries. This piece appears to have the size, form and construction of earlier chairs. See less
