In her timeless art deco inspired, yet with modern sophistication and scale, this piece is clearly recognizable as a Barbara Barry design. An oval framed mirror is flanked by two side posts with hardware allowing the mirror to be positioned at the desired tilt. The whole is supported by two feet measuring 24” deep each, on either side of a stepped-up plinth. The mirror is extremely heavy and substantial, of the highest quality.
It is labeled on the back with Baker and Barbara Barry placards.
Condition notes:
This is an estate sourced item in pre-owned vintage condition, with scratches, scrapes and dings throughout, authenticating its 25+ year age--yet the quality is undeniable. The piece will be cleaned and blemishes will be touched-up prior to shipment. It is photographed in natural light to disclose and magnify the marks of its previous life in brightest light. Its condition does not detract from its presence when placed in an interior setting.
