Lovely, New York made, Stickley quartersawn oak rocking chair. Great reading or nursing chair. Good condition for its age (mid-90's vintage) - one small nick on arm, see detail photo.
This is an original Stickley Mission Harvey Ellis Oak Rocker without the Harvey Ellis inlay. It is upholstered in fabric. The chair has the original Stickley stamp and metal tag.
The chair is in very good condition. The only places showing some wear is on the inside corner of the left arm (see detail picture) and the bottom rocker pieces they hit the floor (not visible unless you pick up the chair to view it upside down. ) Additional photos can be provided.
